ABOUT THE MEETING
IRTBA's Landscape/Erosion Control Committee invites you to participate in a Forum on In-Stream Work Plans, Wednesday, April 5, 7:30AM–12:30PM, Elgin Community College, Seigle Auditorium, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.
The Forum will be an interactive and lively discussion to hammer out the regulatory, engineering and construction challenges of In-Stream Work Plans. Topics for in-depth examination include USACE 7 Minimum Standards, IDOT Special Provision and cofferdams. Participants will provide critical input for the committee's memo to IDOT about how to implement best practices and improve standards and policies.
Panelists include experts from USACE, IDNR-OWR, Illinois Tollway, IDOT, local regulatory agencies and member firms. Registration is $50.00 and participants may earn four (4) professional development hours.
