Tollway Names IRTBA President Sturino to SAT

Mike Paine, Vice President of Dunnet Bay Construction Company, has taken the role of Chairman of the Board with the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association as of January 2024.

In January, Julie Wrightsman, President of Maintenance Coatings Company and Chairperson of the Board with the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, will step down from her post with IRTBA and pass the gavel to Mike Paine, who will serve as Chair until 2026.

Transportation for Illinois Coalition has released the transportation revenue tracker for the month of September.  Motor Fuel Tax Fund and Transportation Renewal Fund revenues were $242.5 million. On a dollar basis, this represents a $137.7 million dollar increase over the pre-Rebuild Illinois average (FY 16 – FY 19). 

The reconstruction and modernization of the Jane Byrne Interchange is a finalist for the grand prize in the America's Transportation Awards, the top honor for state departments of transportation.
