To help our members combat the high cost of health insurance, the IRTBA/MMA/Blue Cross Blue Shield has formed an Association Health Plan exclusively for members.


This new plan will help achieve 5 main goals:

  4. Affordable premiums - It is predicted that this  Association Health Plan will likely save between $1,900 and $4,100 per employee per year as compared to small group plans. 
  5. Reasonable cost increases - The IRTBA has chosen Blue Cross Blue Shield as the insurance carrier. Blue Cross Blue Shield has superior brand recognition, networks, and lower-than-average cost increases compared to other carriers in the market.
