The 2026 Chairperson Orientation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the IRTBA Office Building - Second Floor Conference Room (500 Park Boulevard, Itasca, IL 60143) from 8:30am-10:30am. A Continental breakfast will be provided.
The objective of this orientation is to focus on techniques and practices that successful committees and subcommittees use to effectively support their charge and to develop and implement the Association’s strategic plan. The program will explore strategies and best practices in the following areas:

- Leading & Facilitating Successful Meetings
- Collaboration Between Chairs
- Role of Committees in a Successful Association
All Chairs, new and veteran, are highly encouraged to attend. In order to achieve the Association’s strategic goals, we need support from all of our working committees; internal, cooperative, and industry technical committees.
